2nd Annual Kiwanis Club of Apex Charity Car & Bike Show
October 11, 2014
Peak Plaza  |  1777 W. Williams Street, Apex, NC 27523
(Food Lion parking lot | Hwy 55/Jenks Rd)

Thank you to all who came out to support the Apex Kiwanis Club. The 2nd Annual Kiwanis Club of Apex Charity Car & Bike Show would not have been a success without your participation. We are appreciative of all the car and bike collectors, enthusiasts, sponsors and volunteers who came out, as well as the Key Club members from Green Hope High School and Apex High School. As always, they worked very hard, taking registrations, working in the Kid Zone, serving food and helping with raffle tickets.

The Executive Board and members of Apex Kiwanis Club send a special thank you to the Event Chairperson, Angie Safon, for her tireless effort to plan, coordinate, and excute this event. It is our premier fundraising event of the year. She deserves the utmost praise and recognition for all she does with this event as well her other roles within the Club. In addition to being an active member in the Apex Kiwanis Club, she is also the owner of Peak Towing and Apex Transmissions. She juggles all of these positions with unssurpassed grace and genuineness. If you have not had a chance to meet Angie, please visit her at one of her businesses or at our weekly Kiwanis meeting. 1st Annual Kiwanis Club of Apex Car & Bike Show
October 5, 2013
Beaver Creek Commons Dick's Parking Lot

Apex Kiwanis greatly appreciates all of the participation we received to make the 1st Annual Kiwanis Club of Apex Car & Bike Show such a huge success. Many car and bike collectors, enthusiasts, sponsors and volunteers came out to show their support for the Kiwanis Club. A large group of Key Club members from Green Hope High School and Apex High School were there to volunteer. They took registrations, worked in the Kid Zone, served food and helped with raffle tickets.

The event has raised over $4,000 for the children in our community and other affiliated organizations that help children in need. See our home page for a list of recent beneficiaries and programs. Additionally, over 45 lbs of food that was not sold at the event was donated to the Western Wake Crisis Ministry in downtown Apex.

This was a huge success and the proceeds will make a big impact in our community. Look for an even bigger splash at the 2014 Charity Car and Bike Show. Mark it on your calendars for this coming October. Details will be coming out in the near future!
